荣誉项目 students are allowed to register for classes prior to normal pre-registration dates.

荣誉项目 students are ensured enrollment in three successive Honors seminar courses. These courses are multidisciplinary, dynamic, intimate, and discussion-oriented.

Honors students are encouraged to attend the monthly “Feed Your Head” 教师 lecture series, 荣誉计划赞助和安排, 向整个大学社区开放. These presentations feature University professors sharing their knowledge on subjects of general interest and encouraging discussion in their areas of expertise.

The 荣誉项目 focuses on building community among its members by providing social activities such as a picnic on the beach to kick off the year, a Thanksgiving dinner for students remaining on campus, 以及春季学期的生态探险, transporting students to a 佛罗里达 location known for its natural beauty and environmental interest. The 荣誉学生协会 (HSA) also emphasizes community building and sponsors a number of social events throughout the year.
The 荣誉学生协会 (HSA) strengthens the Honors students' sense of community and organization through its commitment to social activities 和服务. The student officers also serve to communicate student ideas, 担忧, 以及给荣誉项目主任的建议. All students in the 荣誉项目 are eligible to become members of the HSA.
The 荣誉项目 is developing a collection of books available only to students in the 荣誉项目. “必须阅读, must share" books have been recommended by 荣誉项目 students and involved 教师. Started in 2004, this collection will be added to annually.
